Baseball is known as a “thinking man’s game” due to the games complexity and strategy involved. Hailed as America’s pastime, those who play and coach know that baseball is as demanding as it is difficult. 

“It takes roughly 400 to 650 milliseconds for a pitch to make it to home plate. It takes the human brain at least 125 milliseconds just to see the ball come out of the pitcher’s hand, and then another 150 milliseconds to swing. In a game that guarantees failure; the precision required to hit a baseball mind boggling.”

Baseball also requires complex mental capacity, and situational awareness. Players must make physically demanding, split-second decisions while using agility and reflexes to make plays on the run. Players need speed, agility, strength and hand-eye coordination…
