David lives in Higganum, CT with his daughters, Kelsie (13) and Josie (9). He grew up and played youth sports in Groton, CT, and was an All-State catcher at Fitch Senior High School. David went on to play college baseball at Indiana University and Western Carolina University, and played professionally in the Atlanta Braves organization. Following his playing career, David was a bullpen catcher for 9 seasons with 4 professional organizations, helping young pitchers develop and advance through the minor leagues at the AA and AAA levels.
David founded CBA Baseball programs in 1994 to teach baseball fundamentals through summer camps and private instruction. In 1998, CBA merged with the Norwich Navigators Summer Baseball Camps, and David worked for the Navigators as the Co-director of youth camp instruction for two more summers. He began coaching softball in the Haddam Little League, and has assisted with regular season teams, as well as with the HK All-Stars. He has coached travel softball with the CT Lady Nationals [Niantic, CT], and assisted this past season with the HK Cougars in the Durham Fall league.
John was born and raised in Clinton, CT where he currently owns a farm and resides with his daughter, Angelina, (13). John was a versatile athlete growing up, playing baseball, basketball, and football in the Clinton Youth Leagues. John added track to his athletic activities at Morgan High School, where he was named captain of the football team, was named to the All-Shoreline team, and was invited to the Walter Camp Banquet in his senior season. John played football collegiately at Southern Connecticut State University, until a knee injury ended his playing career. He has stayed active as an athlete, playing in local Men’s Softball leagues for 32 years.
John has coached peewee baseball, basketball, and soccer in the Clinton Parks and Rec leagues, winning 2 championships in soccer. He has coached softball for 5 years, including 5 years as an All-Star coach, winning 1 championship in that time. John has also coached for the past 2 seasons with the Clinton Crush in the Durham Fall League.
Adam resides in Killingworth, CT with his wife, Cindy, and children Annabelle (12), and Max (11). Adam grew up in Clinton, CT and played baseball, basketball, and football in the Clinton Youth leagues. He went on to play baseball and football in high school at Xavier-Middletown, and was a 4-year starter on the baseball team. Adam captained the baseball team as a senior, and was an All-State catcher in both his junior and senior seasons. He also earned all-conference honors as a sophomore, junior and senior. Adam received an athletic scholarship to play baseball collegiately at Wake Forest University, where he captained the team in his senior season.
Adam has 6 years of experience coaching youth baseball and softball. He most recently coached for the Shoreline Breakers Travel Baseball program, and is excited to make the transition to Travel Softball for the inaugural 2019 season.
